Copying and using articles from this journal are subject to the open-access regulations for scientific publications.

Manuscript Acceptance Process in the Journal of Research Achievements for Field and Horticulture Crops:

  1. Manuscript Submission: The corresponding author registers the manuscript in the journal’s system, including filling in the authors' details, uploading the manuscript in the required format, and submitting the commitment form.
  2. Initial Review: The editor-in-chief and the editorial board review the manuscript for publication value and adherence to the journal’s format. If needed, the manuscript is referred to a subject editor for specialized review.
  3. Structural Revisions: The manuscript may be returned to the author for structural revisions (if necessary).
  4. Peer Review: The manuscript is sent to at least three experts in the relevant field for review.
  5. Review Process: The reviewers evaluate the manuscript, providing feedback and completing an evaluation form regarding the quality and quantity of the manuscript’s content, which is then submitted to the editor-in-chief.

At this stage, three outcomes are possible:

  1. If two reviewers reject the manuscript, it is removed from the journal’s workflow and the author is notified.
  2. If reviewers request major or minor revisions (at least two reviewers), the manuscript is returned to the authors for revision.
  3. If reviewers do not complete the review in the allotted time, the manuscript is sent to new reviewers.
  4. Revised Submission: The revised manuscript is resubmitted by the authors along with a file addressing the reviewers' comments (within two weeks).
  5. Final Review: The corrected manuscript is sent to the final reviewer to ensure the revisions have been adequately addressed.
  6. Final Decision: The final reviewer provides a recommendation for acceptance or rejection.
  7. Editorial Decision: The editor-in-chief presents the review process in the editorial board meeting for a final decision on acceptance or rejection.
  8. Notification: If the manuscript is rejected, the corresponding author is informed. Accepted manuscripts proceed to the next stage.
  9. Pre-publication: Accepted manuscripts are posted in the “Articles in Press” section on the journal’s website for two weeks. Any final corrections suggested by the corresponding author and co-authors are made before publishing.
  10. Publication Fee: The corresponding author of accepted manuscripts is notified to pay a publication fee to the specified account and provide proof of payment to the journal's secretariat. The manuscript will not be published until this step is completed.
  11. Publication Queue: The wait time for manuscripts to be published depends on the number of approved manuscripts.
  12. Confidentiality: Throughout the review process, authors are not informed of the reviewers’ identities, and reviewers are not informed of the authors’ identities.
